OurTakeMedia Announces 1st Annual “Soap Podcast Awards” Nominees

Soap Podcast Awards to be streamed on Youtube, Periscope, Twitch at a date to be announced.

Nashville, TN – April 12, 2020 – Today, OurTakeMedia announced the nominees for the 1st annual Soap Podcast Awards.  The streaming awards show will take place over two consecutive weekends honoring the continuing drama genre in both the United States and the United Kingdom.

“With the absence of a traditional award show this year, we felt it was our time to bring the community together while maintaining social distancing to honor some of the great work done by those in front of and behind the camera,” said founder Johnathon Kornblee. “We plan to bring together a variety of podcasters from around the world to provide what is sure to be a unique and amazing experience for fans in this unprecedented time.”

The Soap Podcast Awards are based on content that aired between January 1st, 2019 and March 31, 2020 in their original country.  Honoring the four North American Daytime Dramas (Days of our Lives, General Hospital, The Bold and The Beautiful, and The Young and the Restless) as well as the four traditional United Kingdom continuing dramas (Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, and Hollyoaks).
